As the season slowly changes to the cooler days of Fall, I thought I would take a moment to reminisce of the summer and one of the things that I saw that I thought was interesting. To the left you can see one of those scenes. This was taken at the Buttermilk Falls down in Ithaca, NY.
I had noticed the swirling pattern in the water but it was so slow it was almost insignificant. So, I did something to make it more significant. I slowed my shutter down and thus was able to make the swirls more visible and more prominent. Here they show the hypnotic swirls of this small point in the stream which feeds the Buttermilk Falls.
This is fantastic! Great work Mervin!
